Chef Alex's Story

Alex Manos began his culinary journey alongside his brother Chris in their father's pastry shop. After developing a passion for food, Alex built his career by working in Michelin-starred restaurants such as Melisse and Providence in Los Angeles, honing his skills in high-end cuisine. His experience in prestigious five-star hotels also contributed to his mastery of fine dining. In 2020, when the pandemic disrupted the restaurant industry, Alex and his brother pivoted by founding Gourmaze, a luxury catering company, bringing restaurant-quality experiences to private clients in their homes. Alex’s dedication to exceeding client expectations has been key to Gourmaze’s success.
