Our Story

At the heart of our culinary passion lies the inspiration from our father, a landscape artist whose profound connection with nature sparked our early fascination with the artistry of baking and pastry. Born and trained in Greece, our journey transcended borders as we embraced the elegance of international cuisine, honing our skills with prestigious French culinary techniques. After five years of refining our craft in the kitchens of Michelin-star restaurants and 5-star hotels, we were driven by a desire to innovate and embark on a new chapter.

In 2011, we turned our dreams into reality, leaving our Greek hometown to set up culinary roots in Los Angeles, California. This began an entrepreneurial adventure aimed at infusing our deep culinary knowledge with a passion for crafting distinct and flavorful creations. Now a team of 11 Michelin-trained tastemakers, we are dedicated to revitalizing the culinary landscape with a blend of emotive force and innovative flair. Our mission is to elevate the dining experience, introducing new dimensions of taste and style through dynamic chef interactions and a commitment to culinary excellence.

Gourmaze, a blend of ‘gourmet’ and ‘amaze,’ was born out of the pandemic as restaurant closures prompted us to innovate with personalized meal prep services. We brought the luxury of high-end dining into LA and OC homes, ensuring that despite the challenges, our patrons could enjoy luxurious, awe-inspiring meals safely at home. This approach maintained access to top-tier culinary experiences, merging comfort with culinary excellence.

In 2021, as we moved beyond the pandemic, Gourmaze expanded its services to include tailored private events, catering to all occasions and bringing the restaurant experience to your home. Whether at an intimate gathering or a grand venue, our team was equipped to accommodate any setting, ensuring each event was as unique and memorable as our clients’ visions.

Since our inception, Gourmaze has expanded from our Southern California roots to cater to an elite clientele across 10 U.S. states and 5 countries. This growth has enabled us to serve a diverse group of gourmet enthusiasts, including global athletes, world leaders, Fortune 500 entrepreneurs, and royal families, highlighting our commitment to delivering unparalleled culinary experiences globally.

Today, our team of more than 10 Michelin-trained chefs has prepared and delivered over 10,000 personalized meals and catered successfully to over 1,000 events. With over 100 5-star reviews on Google & Trustpilot, Gourmaze has attracted attention from major global publications, underscoring our commitment to culinary excellence and customer satisfaction.
